Document Control Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Study assembly and other processes to determine key steps for documentation.
Update existing documents or create new ones per a prioritized plan.
Use established templates for each document type.
Modify or create templates as needed.
Create or modify associated audit sheets based on documented processes.
Whenever possible, analyze job being documented to determine potential improvements for safety, efficiency, and consistency.
Route documents for approval based on the document type of area of usage.
Publish and distribute documents once approved.
Maintain obsolete revisions.
Ensure that obsolete documents and revisions are unavailable for use.
Support training efforts related to use of the document control process, including scheduling training to new or revised documents.
Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.
Attend scheduled work hours on a regular and timely basis.
Maintain good attendance.
Ability to work mandatory overtime as required.
Follow company policies and procedures.
May be asked to assist in the Quality Manager in other miscellaneous responsibilities.
May be required to travel from plant to plant on occasion.

Qualifications Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Driver's License Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Prefer 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Demonstrated familiarity with Document Control best practices and standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to read and understand 2D drawings Understanding of trailer manufacturing processes and procedures a plus.
Experience using Syteline or similar ERP systems to access BOMs and schedules a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
